High performance MIL-Grade coating is used for Blast Mitigation which can be applied on Metal, Wood, Concrete, FRP, etc. to protect the asset from blasts. It can be used on Vehicles, Personnel Carrier, Mine Protected Vehicles, Armored Personnel Carrier, Light Strike Vehicles, Light Armored Vehicles, Structures, Barracks / Bunkers and Buildings. As of now only the MPVs & few other armored vehicles are blast protected, however vehicles carrying personnel are rarely blast protected because the usage of BP steel for blast protection increases the vehicle weight tremendously. Also, increased vehicle weight limits the vehicle maneuvering capability. ACPL offers specialized light weight coatings to combat this problem.
